*UPDATE* COLD CASE

Satellite Beach: Missing Person

Date: October 1998

Location: 6682 Riv Alto Drive

Jimmie “Randy” Johnson was last seen on Tuesday October 6th, 1998 in the Orlando and Cocoa Florida areas. Johnson was traveling from Orlando to his business in Cocoa. Relatives reported Johnson missing when he did not return home after several days. Johnson was 27 at the time of his disappearance.

Johnson was an entrepreneur and owned two businesses in Brevard County, Florida; Final Dimensions, a music and head shop on State Road A1A in Satellite Beach and Club Impact (formerly Outer Limits), a rave club in the city of Cocoa near Cocoa Village. Investigators know that Johnson met with friends in Orlando on October 5th and 6th, 1998 and indicated he was returning to his club in Cocoa to meet with business associates. Investigators believe Johnson did in fact return to the Cocoa area that day. Early tips suggested Johnson left Florida to move to Costa Rica, however evidence suggests Johnson was likely the victim of a homicide, although his body has yet to be recovered.

Investigators have reopened this case because of new information and advances in DNA technology that may provide further clues as to the events that led to Johnson’s disappearance.
